![]() ![]() You can maintain the same length of the game while still offering new content by doing that, though I also think Hades could benefit from a hidden hardcore final floor after the current end boss for veteran players like they have in games such as Binding of Isaac, Spelunky or Enter the Gungeon, the game isn't that long overall so I think that would work for advanced players. I disagree, you should look at how they do DLC for games like Dead Cells, in that they add new floors and it works because they make them alternate paths to what you had previously, often with new bosses at the end of a region. It could be they could add something different enough to improve on it, but honestly I'd rather they work on a new game in this genre and get something completely new. Originally posted by Kalvix:There isn't too much they could do for DLC, they couldn't add more floors as the length being messed with could ruin it, they don't want to add more boons if they aren't going to be different enough, and same with weapons. Do you think it works better as it is, or do you think the developers should expand on what is arguably their strongest foundation for a game to date? I'm curious to know whether you guys, as players who more than likely are enjoying it equally, would also like to see future DLC or expansions. I'd pay for it, but that's just my opinion. It's so well made and has so much potential for expansion and adding more rooms, expansions, enemies that I personally would absolutely love to see more expansions and DLC. ![]() I decided to give it a go, and honestly, I think I can safely state it's perhaps one of my favourite games, if not just currently, maybe within the last few years of recent memory. Myself, like many I'm sure, perhaps took a brief look at the game, saw the visuals and maybe dismissed it. Personally, my viewpoint is that this is my first rouge-like. ![]() I'm aware that the developers previously have not ventured down the DLC route for their previous games much, if at all, but given the clear success and praise for their latest title, Hades, do you think it's likely to change their mind about DLC? Is there even a demand for DLC? This is more me just being curious than anything. ![]()
